The streak of elite athletes on the set of GPTV – in the always lovely San Francisco CrossFit – continued this episode with none other than the 6-time Ironman champion himself, Mark Allen. Once known by the moniker of “World’s Fittest Man,” Mark has an endless wealth of information in regards to fitness, training, and just what it takes to be a world class athlete.
No triathlete has gained the recognition or success that Mark Allen has. After competing and losing in the Ironman Triathlon Championships six times, he emerged victorious in 1989, winning the most difficult one-day sporting event in the world. It would be the first of six Ironman victories for Allen, the last coming in 1995 at age 37, making him the oldest champion ever.
Make sure to keep an eye out for the next episode of GPTV, featuring the talented Mark Allen. This is an episode you certainly don’t want to miss!
