Happy Halloween! Want some tricks? Or treats?

What’s a CrossFitter (or any other aspiring athlete) to do on Halloween? Going door to door asking for candy doesn’t seem exactly Paleo- or primal-approved (though perhaps we will give you the pass on dark dark chocolate). Some boxes have Halloween throwdowns, other boxes are willing to pay kids for their candy ($1/lb)… and some boxes combine the best of both worlds: They don Halloween costumes in place of gym clothes and do a WOD anyway. Seeing Wonder Woman do push presses seems kind of normal, right?

Back at CrossFit Silicon Valley‘s OktoberFit, it wasn’t hard to find a beer maiden here or a superhero there, as teams were encouraged to dress in costume for the event. In honor of all of you who will be hitting up a WOD on this All Hallows’ Eve, enjoy our small homage to the costumed CrossFitter.
