
EXCITING NEWS!!!!! CrossFit Prineville will officially be hosting a seminar by FTF FITNESS! Are you looking to up your game and become an even better CrossFitter????? This is the seminar for you!!! Over the weekend of August 10th this is what we will be covering: (taken from the FTF website) Day 1- Fundamentals of Exercise- Movement based on the individual Basic Bio-mechanics and structural integrity assessment- Each coach will evaluate 10 athletes on structural Integrity, AM Break Out sessions: ( 2 hours plus at each break out station) Fundamental Barbell Lifts – Squat series, Press series, Deadlift Series- Biomechanics and efficiency of each Fundamental Gymnastics skills- Pull-up series, Handstand on wall series, Ring Basics Series, Box Jumps series, Plyo series- Fundamental Skills and efficiency in movements Fundamental “Monaural” series- Double under clinic, Running efficiency, Skills and drills to improve speed, Rowing form/skill We will meet at lunch for a discussion of performance based nutrition Day 2: Discussion in the AM of strategic planning of WODS based on movement patterns Discussion of how to plan out your day to enhance your training Discussion regarding sleep and stress management Break Out Sessions: Advanced Movement patterns based on each athlete: (each rotation about 2 hours) Station 1- Snatch Station 2- Clean and jerk Station 3- Advanced Gymnastics movements- Handstand walks, Muscle ups, bar muscle-ups, ring work, rope climbs, etc. Total 16 -18 hours of information/ movement/ individualization. We may change the breakout sessions based on the coaches available and throw Snatch on Day one and Clean and Jerk on day 2. But nonetheless, there will be a great deal of skill work, movement teaching and education. We have a MAXIMUM NUMBER OF 24 slots available for this seminar. Once we get above this level, we start to lose the ratios we are hoping for . If MORE THAN 24 WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER, we will come back, we promise!! we like to go where we are wanted Total cost is $300 for the ENTIRE weekend!
