Community is what drives people together, and in this instance, the common cause is to get fitter.
Anyone who has ever participated in CrossFit can attest there is something different about CrossFit. I have participated in several different sports, and CrossFit is different.

There is an immediate sense of family and community in a CrossFit gym (CrossFit box). You are immediately welcomed; everyone in the class will introduce themselves and ask about your past CrossFit experiences. If you are a “newbie,” they will cheer you on and support you as if you were an old friend. If you are an experienced CrossFitter, they will push and challenge you.

Sense of community is a big factor in CrossFit’s success, not to mention the daily changes in workouts — always a surprise. Community is what drives people together, and in this instance, the common cause is to get fitter.
